Overview
Tortenite is a versatile Tem with strong offensive and defensive options. With a high special attack, the Efficient trait, and the powerful Crystal Spikes technique, it can spam offensive moves for a long time. That's not all - with the Confined trait, it can also buff itself into a defensive beast while laying down pressure with Crystal Spikes and single target Doom status. This Tem's typing and natural bulk make it a powerful threat when paired with Tems that protect it from its weaknesses.

Description
(1.3 DUKE'S NOTES - TULCAN AND TYRANAK ARE KINDA ROUGH FOR THIS TEM, BUT IF THE TOP END SEES A SHAKEUP IN 1.3 TORT CAN MAKE IT BACK IN.)
Efficient Tortenite takes advantage of some really nice moves that Tort has - Rotten Goo, Crystal Spikes, and Crystal Deluge have decent offensive power and some useful utility. This Tort really can't do much against Earth tems, but can be a bulky damage dealer on the special side, which is rare.
Gear choices should mostly be focused around disruption for Tort, since Efficient handles a lot of the tem's stamina requirements. Marbles and Mom's Lunch work, as does Refreshing Diabolo. If it's important to utilize the priority capabilities of Goo, Dust and Deluge, you can cut HP from this set for speed.
When considering partners for Tort, there are two things to consider - tems that can activate Goo, Dust, and Deluge's synergies, and also tems that can benefit from Tort's ability to hard-wall natures, toxics, waters, and mentals.

Description
(1.3 DUKE'S NOTES - WOW THIS THING SURE HAS BEEN WAITING TEN THOUSAND YEARS FOR A TULCAN NERF, HUH. NO REAL CHANGES TBH )
Tortenite is a easy to learn, hard to master scaling defensive tank that carries an alternative win condition with the Doom status. Tortenite's defining difficulty is its type chart - it carries five resistances and four weaknesses, and the goal of playing this tem is to herd your opponent into a boardstate that can't damage Tort very much, and lock it down with Confined Cage.
With the recent nerfs to Stone Wall, Quartz Shield is an efficient, powerful buff that accelerates Tort's +8/+8 clock of unkillability. Deluge, Dust, and Goo don't quite make it onto this set, since Cage and Garden are such essential techniques, offering Tort doom application, self-healing, Confined and board control.
Tortenite appreciates allies that help to secure its boardstates - Ukama and Wiplump are great partners with synergy Water Cannon. Sparks users can help accelerate Tortenite as well, and healing is appreciated. Unlike most "raidboss" tems, Tortenite doesn't really benefit from defensive buffs, as it generates them on its own with unparallelled efficiency.
